This white wire basket was a gift from my Aunt. It came with 9 individual herbs to start my own herb garden! It now sits on an ottoman in my family room. Please, I know the lavender countertop is needing an update.

This bedframe is probably one of my favorite pieces of furniture that I own. I especially love the birds! And anything WHITE.

Old Wedding Magazines

I love old wedding magazines! I sometimes flip through them and clip pictures to dream about. I am currently making a scrap book of ideas for my sister who will be getting married this summer.

Leaving a Heritage

I love geneology! When my first son was born, I asked all parents and grandparents to help me in the details of our family tree. I then hand wrote the tree including only parents to the seventh generation. I also love this picture of my husband's grandfather, not to mention the beautiful frame and bubbled glass. I want my children to know their heritage and the importance of serving the Lord

I have to tell you that I saw this birdie garland on another blog entitled Bricolage and Butter. I have decided to try and make this for next years' gift exchange. I love vintage material and collect fat squares when they are on sale. I plan to also try to add the bells and beads!

Thanking Others

One of my favorite things in the world is a HANDWRITTEN Note. (I am laughing as I type) I looked through all of my Christmas Cards and realized how lucky I am to have so many with even a few sentences that were personal! Therefore, my goal is to write a handwritten thank you for each and every gift! Yes, this has taken me all day!

I am thankful!

I have so much to be thankful for! I am starting a new week, and a new year! My family was just able to visit for Christmas. My children are healthy and my husband loves me! I am attempting to blog as a new ambition...a sort of fulfillment. I am wanting to connect my passions, my creativity and my life to others and in a way that glorifies Him!

This is my very first attempt to scrapbook! I asked all family members to design a leaf at Thanksgiving and write what they were thankful for on it! I took each leaf and a picture of that individual and designed an 8x8 page. Here is a sample page!
